Any additional items needed before assembling your playhouse
can be purchased at any local home improvement store.
In addition to the standard features that come with our
easy-to-assemble kits, options you can purchase for your playhouse include an inside loft,
chimney, and extra windows, shutters and flower boxes.
Chapel Playhouse Dimensions
The 8' wide playhouses has 2" x 3" wall studs and 2" x 4" roof joists
There is roughly a 4-5" overhang on all playhouses
To build your own floor, the size of the floor needs to be the exact
size of the playhouse. The walls are designed to go on a wooden deck, so the
siding extends below the wall framing by approx. 3" to cover the floor framing.
If you order the kit without a floor to place the kit on a concrete or masonry
floor, you'll need to add a couple of 2 x 4's under the wall plates or cut off
the extended siding.
We recommend a crushed stone base 1' wider on either side of the
playhouse
