To build your own floor, the size
of the floor needs to be the exact size of the playhouse. The walls are designed to go on a
wooden deck, so the siding extends below the wall framing by approx. 3" to cover the floor
framing. If you order the kit without a floor to place the kit on a concrete or masonry
floor, you'll need to add a couple of 2 x 4's under the wall plates or cut off the extended
siding.
